database - What's the difference between id and place id in google map api result? -

here example result of google map api.

as can see, there 2 items seem unique.

id: "4c45c924b261e2bb262360fb5a25d4b9a94088a7", place_id: "chijf5us9yqbjj8r0oohvhqms1u",

well what's difference between these? should store 1 in project's database use later use?

you should use place_id (id looks temporary identifier)

place ids :

a place id textual identifier uniquely identifies place...

you can use same place id across google places api , number of google maps apis...

you can store place id , use retrieve same place details later...

place ids exempt caching restrictions stated in section 10.5.d of google maps apis terms of service. can therefore store place id values later use.
