ssl - IIS multiple-IP-address server with host header conflicts with Owin Self-Host Service -


i'm trying windows service working , running bit of conundrum. iis has ucc cert installed host name, want have owin self-host windows service host share host name.

however, if iis site on , windows service started, iis site trumps windows service , 404's calling windows service's endpoints. if shut off iis site, can access windows service.

if iis site on , windows service isn't started, , try start it, access denied error (ostensibly because iis has claimed things host name (all ur endpoints r belong us)).

so there way iis not swallow services host name? there exception or can put in https://host/api method calls won't absorbed iis?
