mysql - 503 Service Unavailable for frontend of Magento 1.8 Apache 2.4 EC2 Bitnami -


i have hosting in ec2 amazon bitnami migrated magento 1.8. after enhancing performance, enabling flat catalog when did reindexing website gets down , can't access. still have restart server. found out mysql exhausting resources.

can give me tips on how can prevent exhaustion of server?

nginx - phpPgAdmin - log in works but I have to login again after clicking on any links -
