linux - Cannot connect to MySQL externally -


i trying connect mysql database setup on linux externally , not working. have made sure have right ip , root user able used externally. have tried numerous tutorials nothing worked.

you need create other user external connections on mysql database.

i don't know why root user not working distant connections. create new user , give right used externally.
