java - Kafka takes ~30 minutes for new messages to be consumed -
running 1 consumer, 3 brokers, 1 producer. having issues messages being produced kafka, there being 35 minute delay between production , consumer being able ingest messages. specifically, though possibly not exclusively seen when kafka has been exhausted of messages, consumer continues run, , more messages produced.
unsure of broker/producer configuration, can query sysadmin questions
