Android SBC with mPCIE modem only connecting to 2G -


i have android sbc zte mf210v2 modem. modem 2g , 3g capable , frequencies match our local mobile networks in australia.

however modem works 2g capable sim card. cannot connected on 3g simcards/networks.

i have selected '3g preferred' in device settings.

i have access source code on board. can advise should looking determine modems configuration in relation 2g/3g etc? board china bands/frequencies might hard coded incorrectly?
