google maps - Geocoding API usage limits at project level or account level? -
would kind enough tell me whether google api usage limits specified here: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/geocoding/usage-limits calculated set @ project level, or account level please?
i'm using 1 api key several maps on our website. total calls per day limit no problem @ all. we're clocking more 50 requests per second in peak times though.
if create new project, , new api key in same account, mean can hit 50 requests per second on 1 api key, , 50 requests per second separately on api key...or calculated @ account level?
many everyone!
the documentation states following:
most of google maps apis have complimentary per-day quota can set in google api console. daily default , maximum query limits vary api. can increase complimentary daily limits enabling billing, or purchasing google maps apis premium plan license. quota limits enforced on unique project basis, , may not take action circumvent quota limits. example, may not create multiple projects compound , exceed quota limits.
https://developers.google.com/maps/faq#usage-limits
so, can see usage quota calculated on per project basis. if use 2 api keys different projects each 1 have own usage limits. cannot create unlimited number of project 1 account. far know can create approximately 16 projects within 1 account.
i hope clarifies doubt.
